Anti-Wrinkle Injections
This nurse-led treatment is used to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles on the face. A medically prescribed protein derivative called botulinum toxin is injected into the muscles of the face, resulting in reduced contraction. Botulinum toxin can prevent, alleviate, and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Botulinum toxin can also be used to reduce chin dimples and bunny lines, tighten the neck, and reduce gummy smiles, jawline slimming and hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) for underarms, feet and hands.

How Does Botulinum Toxin Work?
Botulinum toxin temporarily reduces muscle activity in the targeted areas, softening the appearance of lines and wrinkles. At SOS Aesthetics we use small amounts of botulinum toxin and work within the limits of the clients anatomy to achieve a more natural look. When injected correctly, botulinum toxin should simply refresh and prevent the ageing process, not change or alter your natural features.
What to Expect on the Day?
Your nurse will take a full medical history and consent from you before we begin. Your nurse will then assess your face to discuss what can be achieved. The injections are superficial and administered with a very fine needle. The whole treatment should only last around 15-30 minutes.
Results
Results are expected to start showing in around 3-7 days, with full effects visible after 2 weeks. Results last for approximately 3-4 months, depending on the individual.
Microneedling
Microneedling, also known as skin needling or collagen induction, is a painless, non-invasive, scientifically proven natural approach to skin rejuvenation. Microneedling is an effective way to exfoliate and rejuvenate skin, soften fine lines and wrinkles, and improve sun damage, pigmentation, scarring and stretch marks.
How It Works
We use a revolutionary 36-needle device; these needles glide over the skin, creating tiny channels through controlled trauma. This encourages the skin to heal itself by stimulating fibroblasts, aiding in the production of collagen, and elastin. The tiny channels that are created in the skin enable better absorption of products. Here at SOS Aesthetics, we use a bespoke combination of specific serums containing vitamins and amino acids that are specific to your skin's needs, allowing the serums to penetrate deeper layers of skin tissue. The inclusion of these vitamins and amino acids helps to promote healthy skin, skin rejuvenation and skin regeneration.

Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are a very popular treatment for the face. Our Nurse will carry out a thorough consultation and assessment of your face prior to treatment. Skin Boosters

Chemical Peels
Chemical exfoliation is a very effective anti-ageing treatment that results in skin rejuvenation by using a chemical solution derived from plants to remove the outermost layer of skin. Skin conditions such as fine lines, acne, scarring, rosacea, and pigmentation are also effectively treated with skin peels. Fat Dissolving Injections
An intralipotherapy designed to treat localised pockets of fat. The active ingredient Sodium Deoxycholate dissolves the areas of fat which are difficult to lose via traditional routes such as exercise and diet. How Do These Fat Dissolving Injections Work?
DesoFace or DesoBody are injected into fatty areas where they liquefy fat cells, destroying them permanently. Fats are then eliminated naturally by the kidneys. Each treatment will take up to eight weeks to show the full result. Larger areas will require between three and six sessions (one every two months) to see optimal results.

When you visit the clinic for your consultation, we will discuss your areas of concern and medical history with you to assess whether this treatment is suitable for you. If it is appropriate, we will recommend a personalized treatment plan, or alternative treatment, as well as answer any of the questions you still have.
What to Expect at Your Treatment Session
The areas for injection will be marked and cleaned and the injections are done with a very small thin but long needle. You will barely be able to feel the needle but the product has a local anaesthetic mixed into it so the procedure will not be painful. The whole procedure will take approximately 30-45 minutes.
What Happens After Your Treatment Session?
You will feel some discomfort afterwards. There will be some redness and swelling as the fat cells start to dissolve. The redness and swelling is normal and to be expected and will improve after a couple of days. Please try to keep the injection sites dry for at least six hours and wear supportive clothing for comfort. Otherwise, you can get on with your day as normal.
